For more than 30 years, Annie Reynolds has been dominating both the Open and Non Pro ranks in reined cowhorse competition. In fact, in 2006, Equi-Stat listed Annie as the #1 All Time Leading Non Pro rider, the #1 Owner, All Ages/All Divisions, and the #5 Rider, All Ages, All Divisions.

It was truly a stellar performance. Annie and Legendary Colonel missed the Open Finals due to a bad cow in the fence work go round, but had their luck been differently, they would have been a force to be reckoned with in the Open Finals.

On the fourth day she successfully competed in the Open and Non Pro Finals, executing six runs for the Championship and Reserve Championship. No other horse in the history of the NRCHA has come close to accomplishing this amazing feat.

1983

• NRCHA World Championship Snaffle Bit Futurity Open Herd Work Champion out of 300 entries, 10th Open Finals, and Ladies Champion riding Nancy McLain (Ima Cougar x Music And Rhythm, a daughter of Poco Rhythm) who has become one of the most important producing dams of Annie's breeding program. This was a very significant win for Annie as it was her first success in a major national competition. Nancy McLain put her in the spotlight and Annie was off and running after that.
